Fuzzy Duck Design

What did they need?

Fuzzy Duck Design had a client project that they needed custom development for. They had worked with the client to create wireframes of the site and determine the scope of work, but that was limited to a simple e-commerce submission form.

What did I do?

I created the basic Drupal framework for the client site and wrote a custom module to serve as the online order form. The client required dynamic updating of the form and the ability to accept payments through Paypal. I wrote the JQuery validation scripts and functions that dynamically calculated the total for the order as various options and packages were selected or modified.

Who did I work with?

I worked with Fuzzy Duck's main developer on the project to make sure that the product met client expectations and fell within the scope of work agreed upon by their contract.

What did I learn?

I had used Javascript for many validation functions in the past, but this project was my first real lesson in the powers of JQuery. I also learned more about the PayPal API and various options for e-commerce within Drupal.
