This is My Home

University of Minnesota Human Rights Resource Center curriculum resource website
What did they need?:
Designed for a different host environment, but then migrated in-house, the Human Rights Resource Center wanted to collect contact information and track users of this new curriculum resource website without requiring usernames and passwords.
What did I do?:
I migrated the website content to the new host servers, expanded the site to include new content, and re-organized the navigation to be more user-friendly. I created a cookie-based one-time registration feature in PHP, and updated a flash-based lesson planning tool.
What did I learn?:
This was my first chance to work with Flash, and while it opened my eyes, it only told me what I didn't yet know. This was one of the main inspirations to start taking courses in Instructional Design.
